1. Prices and Validility |
|
All prices
quoted are recommended retail, in New Zealand dollars and inclusive of 12.5%
government-imposed goods and services tax (GST). |

Price
validility: 01 October 1999 - 30 September 2000. Prices are subject to review notice. |

New Zealand
Travelpass is valid for four months from the date of issue? Travel must start within this
period. Travel must be completed within 6 months from the start date. Identification may
be required to verify the holder of the pass. |
|
Before departure
of each service, the inside of the Travelpass ticket must be endorsed by the coach driver
or train manager in the date validation box. Travellers holding passes not endorsed may be
denied travel and Travelpass may be confiscated. |

2. Children Fares |
|
Children (4
years & under) travel free if they do not occupy a seat. Prices for child between 5
and 14 inclusive are shown in the price lists and generally represent 67% of the adult
fare. |

Air New Zealand: under 4, free if accompanied by adult and not occupying seat; aged 2 but
under 15 occupying a seat, 67% of the adult fare. |

3. Refunds |
|
Once issued, a
New Zealand Travelpass is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be extended. |

4. Services |
|
New Zealand
Travelpass may be used on the services of InterCity Coachlines, Newmans Coach Lines and
associated private coach companies, Tranz Scenic Rail, The Interislander and The Lynx
Ferries and Air New Zealand? carriage dependent on the type of New Zealand Travelpass
purchased. |

5. Definitions |
|
A 'day' of
travel commences at 0001 hours and finishes at 2400 hours. Overnight services count as 1
day's use of the pass. |

6. Terms & Conditions of
Travel |
|
New Zealand
Travelpass holders are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Travel of the operators of
the services travelled on. Please refer to the General Conditions of Carriage of Passenger
Services of Tranz Rail Ltd, InterCity Coachlines Ltd, Newmans Coach Lines and Air New
Zealand Conditions of Carriage and related conditions. These Terms and Conditions
available from the carriers. |

7. Liability |
|
If for any
reason the carriers cannot honour the Terms and Conditions set out, the liability shall be
limited to the purchase price of the New Zealand Travelpass purchased. |

New Zealand
Travelpass Ltd accepts no responsibility for timetable changes that may occur. |
|
The carriers
reserve the right to amend depature or arrival times, arrange alternative services and
shall not be held responsible for any loss or damages resulting from mechanical
breakdowns, strikes, civil disturbances, theft and/or delays or itinerary changes which
may involve additional expense.
